Legal and privacy
Privacy Policy
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to jobpick20.com and the JobPick and Middle East Job Hub pages, tools, guides, and directory features that link to this policy. It does not apply to an employer, job board, government portal, recruiter, analytics provider, advertising provider, or other third-party website that you open from JobPick. Those services publish their own notices and control their own processing.
2. Publisher and contact
JobPick is published by Middle East Job Hub. Questions, correction requests, privacy requests, or complaints can be sent through the Contact page or by email to [email protected]. Please do not send passport scans, banking details, passwords, or other sensitive documents by email unless a legally qualified recipient has specifically instructed you to do so through a verified channel.
3. Information we process
- Technical request data: When a browser requests a page, hosting, security, and delivery services may process an IP address, user-agent, time, requested URL, referrer, and response information in ordinary server logs.
- Browser-local settings: Search role, country, city, recent-search choices, tracker entries, language choice, and privacy choice may be stored in localStorage or similar browser storage. JobPick does not receive browser-local tracker entries merely because they exist on your device.
- Optional account data: If account features are enabled and you choose to sign in, the authentication provider may process an email address, provider identifier, and account security data. If you enable synchronized recent searches, the selected role, country, city, and timestamps may be stored to provide that feature. The tracker is separate and is not synchronized.
- Messages you send: If you contact us, we receive the information you include, such as your email address, page URL, message, and attachments. Please limit attachments to what is necessary.
- Location choices: Browser geolocation runs only after your browser permission. An approximate-location tool may send an IP request to a geolocation provider when you click it. JobPick uses the returned coarse country or city result for the page experience and does not intentionally store precise device coordinates from that feature.
- Analytics and advertising signals: Where permitted by the applicable consent mechanism, analytics and advertising providers may process device, browser, page, event, cookie, and advertising identifiers according to their own notices and your choices.
4. Search and application tools
The main search form builds links to third-party job platforms in your browser. JobPick does not host the resulting vacancy, submit your application, or receive the CV you upload to a third-party platform. The private application tracker is designed to stay on your device; clear it from the tool or clear site storage in your browser.
The CV readiness tool and prompt builder run in the browser unless a page clearly says otherwise. Do not paste passwords, identity numbers, banking data, confidential employer information, or another person’s personal data into a tool.
5. Cookies, local storage, and privacy choices
JobPick uses essential browser mechanisms for navigation, security, language, and privacy settings. Some pages use localStorage rather than cookies for optional browser-local features. The site’s privacy banner stores your local privacy choice so it does not ask repeatedly; it does not treat that choice as a job application or account record.
On pages without the Google-certified consent message, the JobPick banner offers Essential only and Accept optional analytics. Essential-only mode does not load optional JobPick analytics. You can reopen the Privacy choices control at any time. On pages where Google AdSense advertising is enabled, the Google-certified consent message is the relevant mechanism for advertising and related consent choices in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland; the JobPick privacy control links to that revocation flow where available.
6. Advertising and Google services
JobPick may display Google AdSense advertising on substantive editorial or city-guide pages. Advertising is kept separate from job-search controls and is not an endorsement of a job, employer, recruiter, or platform. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, limit, or personalize advertising subject to applicable law and the choices presented by the consent mechanism.
See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, Google Ads Settings, and the applicable consent message for current controls. JobPick does not sell job applications or personal profiles to advertisers.
7. Analytics
Optional analytics may measure aggregate page views, general device information, referral source, and interactions such as opening a guide or clicking an external platform link. JobPick aims not to send raw search-box text, CV contents, private tracker entries, payment data, precise location, or account registration details as analytics event parameters. Analytics is loaded only after the relevant consent or Google consent signal allows it.
8. Third-party links and external processing
Job boards, employers, government portals, recruiters, maps, fonts, hosting services, authentication services, analytics services, advertising services, and approximate-location providers may process information when their resources are requested or their sites are opened. Review the third party’s current privacy notice before submitting an application or personal information. A JobPick link is not a guarantee that a vacancy is current, safe, or affiliated with us.
9. Retention, security, and international transfers
Browser-local information remains until you clear it or the browser removes it. Contact messages and optional account records are retained only as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, security, dispute handling, or legal obligations. Service providers may process data in countries outside your location. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures for the services we control, but no internet transmission or third-party service is risk-free.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to withdraw consent. To exercise a right, contact us with the page or account context needed to locate the request. We may need to verify identity and may direct requests about a third-party platform to that platform. You may clear browser-local data in your browser and reopen privacy settings using the on-page control.
11. Children
JobPick is a general-audience job-search resource and is not directed to children. Do not use the site to submit information about a child. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact the publisher.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when features, providers, advertising settings, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will change when the policy is materially revised. This draft is intended to describe the current site configuration and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel for the publisher’s actual business, jurisdiction, vendors, and consent obligations.
