A strong CV should make your relevant experience easy to understand in a quick review. Adapt it for each role instead of sending one generic document everywhere.

Recommended structure

1. Name and professional contact details.
2. A short summary focused on the target role.
3. Recent experience with achievements and responsibilities.
4. Technical skills, languages, education, and certifications.

Write evidence-based achievements

Replace vague statements with evidence. For example, “resolved customer hardware issues” is stronger when you explain the environment, tools, volume, or result—provided the information is truthful.

Common mistakes

• Typos, inconsistent dates, or unexplained employment gaps.
• Large paragraphs that hide the most relevant skills.
• Unverifiable qualifications or inflated job titles.
• Including sensitive identity information when it is not required.

Save a clean PDF with a professional filename, and make sure the phone number and email address are current.
